Dog So Depressed After Being Surrendered It Won't Lift His Head At Shelter......

On June 30, Sadie was walked into the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control facility in Baldwin Park, Calif., and her leash was handed over to strangers.
Today, the owner surrendered dog is so depressed about being left behind by her family that she does not want to raise her head from the floor. A busy animal control facility is a dangerous place for a homeless dog...especially a pit bull. Tragically, there are so many surrendered and stray pit bulls in the facility that they are the dogs who are most often put down when space becomes an issue.
Sadie is just seven years of age - a dog who is still within the parameters of the prime of her life - but if she is not discovered by a rescue agency with the ability to take her in, or a kind-hearted adopter who is willing to give her a chance, her life will be prematurely ended.
The specifics about this dog are a mystery - the volunteer who took Sadie's photograph wrote:
My name is Sadie. I am a 7 yr old spayed female brown/white pit bull mix. My owner left me here on June 20. available 7/5/14. totally sad - won't even look at you.
Please take a moment to network Sadie's information. The more her photo and information is seen, the better her odds are for walking out of the facility alive.
