ASPCA Rescues More Than 130 Dogs from Alabama Puppy Mill
After a massive rescue in Arkansas last week, the ASPCA is back on the ground saving more than 130 dogs from a puppy mill in Needham, Alabama.
ASPCA responders discovered the dogs—including Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers and Pomeranians—crying out for help in deplorable conditions. Many are malnourished and suffering from medical issues such as hypothermia, dehydration, and painful ocular damage resulting in blindness. It was clear that they had gone most of their lives without basic necessities or positive human interaction, and our team is currently transporting the animals to a temporary shelter for treatment and care.
