The Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation will be hosting an information session in Springfield this Sunday, October 20 at the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.

This session will inform attendees of the status of current animal welfare laws in Missouri, discuss how over 1,100 puppy mills have been closed in less than 4 years in Missouri and what the future looks like for animal welfare.  Most importantly, we will share with you ways YOU can be a part of ending animal cruelty. 

This session will be led by Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation Executive Director Bob Baker.  Mr. Baker has been a leader in the animal welfare field since 1977 and has been instrumental in policy change to help animals in large scale breeding facilities.
