Humane Lobby Day in Missouri - March 11, 2015 Missouri State Capitol, Jefferson City Rewarding, empowering, exciting and easy are words we often hear from folks who join us for this life-changing event. What is Humane Lobby Day about and what can I expect? • It's a one-day event where you'll gather together with other advocates, and speak up about animal protection issues you'd like to see progress on in 2015. • There will be a bill briefing and a training with tips for lobbying. It doesn't matter if you're new to lobbying or unfamiliar with the issues—what's important is your presence. • Legislators have let us know they're motivated by constituents (that's you!) who speak up about issues that matter. Your participation is critical. It's your chance to show how much animals mean to you and to advocate for laws that will improve their lives. • Refreshments will be provided; lunch will not be provided.
