State Legislative Update
January 7th marked the start of Missouri’s 2015 Legislative Session. I will be in the capitol every week talking to legislators, attending committee hearings, and lobbying for stronger animal protection laws for all animals, but we need your help! A number of bills affecting animals were pre-filed this year and will soon be assigned to committees for scheduled hearings. Stay tuned for more updates as the legislative session progresses, and be sure to watch your inbox for important action alerts! Many legislators are serving their first term this year, so if you’re unsure who your legislators are you can find them here.
