View the world through the eyes of Hudson. His objective of this blog is to educate the public by trying to teach them not to buy a dog through a puppy mill. Don't buy a dog before you see where his parents live and how they are treated. Better yet ADOPT through a rescue or shelter and know you've done a good deed by saving a dog's life !!!

What Is A Puppy Mill ???
A puppy mill is a mass breeding facility in which the parent dogs (referred to as 'breeders') are forced to churn out litter after litter of puupies that will be sold through pet stops, over the internet and directly to the unsuspecting public. Because profit--not the health or well-being of the dogs or the breed--is the prime motivator, dogs are often warehoused in tiny, stacked cages all their lives, sometimes without even enough room to stretch their limbs, exercise, or engage in meaningful socialization. Most of these animals receive little to no veterinary care and live in continous discomfort. Puppies born in mills often face immediate and long'term health conditions as well as behavioral problems due to the poor conditions and chronic inbreeding. Dogs living at puppy mills almost neveer know the pleasure of a treat, a toy, or a bed, or even the feeling of grass under their feet.
