Please join us this Saturday as Governor Quinn signs the "Puppy Lemon Law", SB 1639, into law. We are thrilled to see Illinois join several other states that already have lemon laws in place.
The Puppy Lemon Law will offer protection to consumers in Illinois who unknowingly purchase an ill puppy or kitten from a pet store.
As you already know, it is far too often the case that a consumer buys a pet from a pet store that later becomes sick. We applaud the Illinois legislature and Governor Quinn for acting on this issue and protecting Illinois consumers.
Please join us on Saturday. Everyone is welcome, including your well-behaved dogs. We want to see as many people and dogs there as possible! No need to RSVP - just stop by to join us for the signing. Come out and help us celebrate this exciting moment for Illinois! |
