Please read and help if you can!!!!! Breaks my heart.
This wonderful dog has lived a life of hell. She is 13 yrs. old and for 13 yrs., she has lived in a pen at a house where the people are extremely lazy and neglectful. We've been involved there for almost 2 yrs. There were 4 animals there when we first discovered the house. It's been a long haul trying to care for these animals. There is always lots of feces in the pen, they are always hungry, their water is always gross in the summer and frozen in the winter, there are flies all over in the summer. It was disgusting. How this girl lived out there for so long is beyond me. They finally relinquished her to us and she is SO deserving of a comfortable place to lay her head for whatever time she has left. She is arthritic and when she was first liberated, walking was somewhat difficult for her. She has had a vet evaluation and is actually in not too bad of shape. She was underweight and dehydrated, but she is catching up with that. She is on Rimadyl for her arthritis pain and is moving much, much better. Trudy is the sweetest thing-she wants to be pet and loved on so much. She is just trying to make up for all the years she went without any affection or attention.
Because she has been an outside dog all this time, she is not house-trained. We are working with her to go on papers. She does well being in a room with linoleum floors and some newspapers down. She is so happy and comfortable laying in her crate with a big comforter in there for her. She enjoys chewing on cheewies. She doesn't seem to mind other dogs at all. She probably does have some vision loss, but really copes pretty well.
We would love for her to have a foster home through the New Year's holidays at least so she doesn't have to stay down at SNKC while everyone is gone.
Please let me know if you can help this deserving girl. Please forward this email and pix. Trudy is such an angel. I just wish we could make up for all the years that she has suffered.

They Need Our Help
We were successful in stopping pound animals from going to research in Houston, TX...it can be done...we just have to HAMMER them...!!! We had MANY people go and speak before City Council every week and send letters, emails, phone calls. We called the media...talked about lost pets being sold for research, and the horrors of research, etc....
URGENT....5 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Animals that end up at the Montcalm County Animal Shelter in Michigan are sold to to a Class B Research dealer which means these poor animals end up being used in experiments. R & R is the research dealer and his contract with the county is due to expire in early January 2009. Please email a letter (sample letter below) urging the county commissioner to change their policy and not to renew R & R's contract. Then please cross post to everyone you think might help. We can make a difference! Thanks
Maybe it is preposterous to think you can take out all the dogs, but thus far, we came as close as possible on Christmas eve. Only two were there, and of course, worried about them to no end. The simple solution to SENDING A SIGNAL to the county is to get OUT all the dogs. Maybe now the outcry is louder, but if nobody gets the dogs out, they win. We've got out 18 dogs, so far. There's four remaining. The ONLY way to get them out is sponsorship as each dog is a $80.00 fee. The other 58 dogs are getting vet work done as I write this. Next, we need an approved rescue or transport to get a run sheet going, so the only viable place is boarding at $10/a day. We can save every dog because we have the drivers and the vets and the network that wants to see the dogs in safe homes and rescues. The only thing that lets Montcalm win: is we don't have the money. There's four dogs left there now, and we'd love to get them out by New Year's. Please email your number and call if you will sponsor a dog, in part, in full, or a dog and a half. We love all Montcalm dog to be placed in a home with a family. That's how you tell Montcalm County you will not tolerate scientific research on dogs...otherwise, if the dogs remain, it's like all the other years...a lot of complaining and little action, that's how they see it. We want to change that, one by one. :) You can contact kitt at 1-773-885-4245 for more information
Hello,
A few weeks ago many of us rescues, transporters and other animal lovers were all included in a series of e-mail pleas that were an effort to rescue 11 dogs headed to a research lab. Several of us have combined our efforts, including web searches, to try to help stop the practice altogether. This letter comes to you in hopes that you will all join in to send a strong message to the people who can do something. And if we all write to them it WILL be a strong message. We have effected change before with our combined voices.
I am told that Montcalm County, Michigan, routinely sells animals to research. Several rescuers have been working non-stop to rescue animals from that facility--from a fate worse than death. But what also has to be done is to stop the practice. The county's contract with the Class B dealer (R & R Research of Howard City, Michigan) is up for renewal in early January. The Montcalm County commissioners need to hear from all of us that this barbaric practice has to stop. There is an organized effort underway. Please go to
http://www.cccmontc alm.org to see how you can help. There is a box in that website where you can write your note; ask the county commissioners to vote not to renew the contract with R&R Research. You can also sign the petition. I just signed it and there were ONLY 443 signatures as of Dec 28! Come on folks, lets make ourselves heard. Please cross post widely to all your friends. Contact Montcalm County officials. Be persistent. Be well reasoned. And always be polite.
There are two sample letters at the bottom of this email. This will come up for a vote at the commissioners meeting on Jan 12, so please do not delay.
It might be effective to contact national and state media, too.
Here are two other links if you wish to learn more. One of them lists the shady and unethical dealings and behavior of R&R Research, the Class B dealer that gets animals from Montcalm County to sell to research.

Sample Letter # 1
Ladies and Gentlemen:
People throughout the country (and throughout the world) have learned of the plight of stray animals in your county—first abandoned by their people, only to then face the ultimate betrayal—being sold to an unethical Class B dealer for subsequent use as research animals—with the whole operation being funded by taxpayers despite their vehement protests.
Montcalm County is one of the few remaining counties in the country that still betrays the trust of its citizenry by turning animals from the “shelter” over to the atrocities of research. Not only is the practice barbaric, outdated and sharply criticized by ethicists, medical experts and animal lovers alike, but the lab that Montcalm chooses to deal with (R&R Research, Inc. of Howard City, Michigan) has come under fire for unethical operations and flagrant violations of law.
R & R has engaged in less than ethical practices including listing itself as an animal shelter in the yellow pages. The State of Michigan Attorney General’s Office ordered the ads removed. Quite obviously, R & R is no shelter. Ionia County Animal Control ended its relationship with R & R after it was discovered that a dog that an Ionia Animal Control Officer claimed was shot to death, was actually at R & R Research. An undercover investigation by WOOD TV in the 1990's showed video of R & R owners gassing animals in a rusty 55 gallon drum. In 2006, the USDA cited R & R for improperly transporting dogs. The poor creatures were chained to the side of a livestock trailer, which is illegal since the regulations=2 0demand that each animal is transported in an individual compartment. In 2005, a USDA inspection found sick cats, quarantined without a treatment plan. In both cases, it's clear that R & R's actions led to the suffering of animals.
Compassion and ethical considerations aside, Montcalm County is, in this time of financial crisis, enriching R & R, a private corporation, at the expense of its taxpayers. Montcalm County is giving dogs and cats to R & R and based on R & R’s own submission to the USDA, R & R resells the animals for an average of $311 each.
The only one who has benefited from the deal is R & R which resells animals at a huge profit. The animals don't win since they loose the chance at finding a new home. Montcalm County looses any income from adoptions and also the goodwill that a well run shelter generates. Instead, the relationship between the dealer and the shelter is a source of bad publicity for Montcalm County and its elected officials, with many groups even calling for a boycott of all Montcalm businesses until the shelter stops selling to research.
I respectfully request that, in considering the renewal of the R & R contract (or even entering into one with another Class B dealer), you take into account the concerns and welfare of your community (economic as well as social) and have Montcalm County take another step into the 21st century by leaving pound seizure behind. Please do not renew the R & R contract. It is the ultimate betrayal.
Sincerely,

Sample Letter # 2
To whom it concerns,
Please vote against renewing the R & R Research contract on Jan 12.
The contract allows innocent dogs and cats, some of them surrendered pets, to be turned into research subjects where they suffer cruelties and atrocities. I have read of some researchers putting acid in a dogs eyes, inflicting pain and withholding pain medication, gassing the animals, chaining them, allowing sick animals to go without treatment. I have read that R & R has been criticized for violations and for cruelty.Breeding and using companion animals for research purposes is barbaric and inhumane. Allowing it to continue is wrong. It is understandable that people can become desensitized to behaviors, conditions and practices once they have become accustomed to them. This could make it seem "normal" for dogs and cats to be used and abused in this way when it has been happening unchallenged for generations. Or sometimes human nature can cause people to turn a "blind eye" to awful things and simply be in denial. I'll bet those poor animals aren't in denial.
Please open your hearts and vote accordingly to STOP the practice of using companion animals in research. Please do not renew the R & R contract. Please embrace compassion and courage.
Sincerely,

CONTACT THE LINK ABOVE TO HELP THE MONTCALM COUNTY RESEARCH DOGS.

Sincerely,

Two German Shepherd Puppies Need Home
This is the ad from the SSM bulletin board: ST. LOUIS MISSOURI AREA friend has rescued two German Shepard puppies. She found them in the middle of a street eating garbage, and could not drive away and leave them. They are about three months old, and she has given them their first round of shots. She cannot keep them as she already has two dogs. All the no-kill shelters are full. Does anyone know of someone who would love to give these two babies a home? You can email me(Marty) at zymostudios@sbcglobal.net, or the friend who is currently fostering them can be reached: Christy (618)447-3654
Adopt These Dogs
I couldn't put all the dogs she currently is trying find a home for on the site. Kindly call or email her is you can help.
American Eskimo/Spitz female. Not sure of age. She is very scared and won't let most people near her yet. An obedience trainer is going to see her tomorrow and try to bring her out of it. She looks to be about 25 lbs.
Very sweet, shepherd mix female. Already spayed and thinks she is a lap dog. She is about 1-2 years old and obviously loves my husband. : )
Female Benji!! I'm not really a wire-hair fan, but this girl is adorable. She looks like a border terrier in a large body. And what a sweetheart!!! 2-3 years old.
This poor older boy just needs some groceries! He is very sweet but as you can tell, a little on the thin side. He looks to be around 4-5 year old. His may possibly have a cold in his eyes. They are crusty every morning. We are going to have him seen by the vet on Monday for some antibiotics.
Tri beagle male...YEP..another one. He looks to be around 4-5 years old and quiet for a beagle.

Christmas Morning and No Ones Awake
The family went to Midnight CHRISTMAS Mass at St. Matthew on Sarah Street in St. Louis. They didn't get to bed until 2:30 a.m. so the logger heads are down for the count. Don't they realize it is CHRISTMAS and we want to open our gifts too. For all those patiently waiting this beautiful CHRISTMAS morning for everyone in your house to wake up....we feel your pain.

Transportation Needed
PERMISSION TO CROSSPOST
Transport Help is needed to get several dogs to various rescues this coming weekend (Dec 27-28). This is a long transport over Saturday and Sunday.
Right now there are 2 Rottweilers coming from the Hutchinson, KS shelter and one male Rottie from the Chillicothe, MO shelter going to Braham, MN, and a Fox Terrier from Kansas City going to Hampton, IA. Nippy is in a temp foster in KC until transport is set up.
Because of the wild weather everyone has been having, I'd like to move all the dogs to Des Moines on Saturday, and overnight them there rather than Kansas City so they can get to MN earlier on Sunday. So if you are able to overnight one of the dogs in Des Moines, please let me know. Or if there's a boarding place in the Des Moines area, that will work too. David does not care for other dogs, although he seems to do fine with puppies, so he will have to be crated the entire trip and will have to overnight somewhere that he can be separated from other dogs.
We may have to do the overnight in Kansas City so if you can overnight one of these guys there too, please let me know. If we do Kansas City, we only need overnights for Whitney and Ricky.
If you or anyone you know can help get these dogs to safety, please email or call me at fla44c@aol.com or 402-578-5308
THANK YOU!!

God Some Days Its Just Too Frickin Cold
Riding In Style
Sunday, December 21, 2008
This couple had a friend that got this male Dalmatian from a guy that left the dog at his abandoned house. The dogs name is "Dusty" he is a liver color. They've had Dusty for about three months. They also have a German Shepherd. One night (just the other day) Dusty was playing with them and he got a little rough. They reacted and Dusty backed off. The Shepherd decided to be nasty and went after Dusty. Our friend broke the fight up and yelled at Dusty. He couldn't handle the dog anymore and took him to the local shelter. I don't feel that Dusty deserves what happened to him. We need to find a home for him. If you know if you can take him, I can get him from the shelter and take him for no more than two days until you could pick him up. WE NEED TO ACT NOW! Call me at 260-668-0970 Dusty is in Angola, Indiana.

Abbie Just Found A Loving Home
Here are some pictures of Abbie. Abbie is now about 5 months old. She is house trained and kennel trained. She is very playful and especially loves squeaky toys. She is very sweet and needs a good home. This dog needed a home but immediately found one. You can read below the info on her. Apparently, the owners kid was messing with the dog, god forbid the owner stop the kid from yanking on the dogs ears, and the dog snapped at the kid, so now the dog needs a home. Sorry for the attitude, no tolerance for people like this. Anyway, apparently the dog is really sweet and housebroken. Abbie is now about 5 months old. She is house trained and kennel trained. She is very playful and especially loves squeaky toys. She is very sweet and needs a good home.

Christmas Is A Time To GIve
I have found a builder that will build our facility for $13,000.00. This will only be the shell. I will still have to do the concrete floor, walls, wiring, plumbing, doors, heat/air unit and windows, but it is still cheaper than the $20,000.00-$25,000.00 we were original given for the same work.
Please spread the word and see if we can make this happen. Our facility will have 20 indoor/outdoor runs, a puppy quarantine room, a cat/kitten room, laundry/bathing room and a tiny office area w/storage for food and crates.
This will be the new facility for holding animals waiting on transport!! This will give at least 20 dogs a safe place to stay until their transport can be arranged. We can also provide low cost vetting through our vet (same price as the SNIP clinic) I firmly believe that our building will be a wonderful resource for the shelters in Kentucky. Please pass the word around so we can get this building up and going. The builder is anxious to get started and could have most of the work completed before our temporary shut down date of January 12th.
Every dollar counts and Hope for Pets http://www.hopeforpets.org/ has a button on their website so your donation can be tax deductible. The button is located in the middle of the page, please make sure you use that one and ear mark it for Hilltop Haven! What a wonderful Christmas this could be if we can just raise the money! Husky Needs A Home
Emily is looking for a good home for this less than a year old female Siberian Husky. A friend of hers is getting divorced and cannot keep the dog any longer. It seems a great shame for the owner to have to take her to the Humane Society for placement. Anyone interested call Kat at (314) 606-5274. This dog lives with her owner in St. Louis, Missouri. Heart Warming New Home For Martino
Remember Martino? Well, now his name is Myles and he is in his new home thanks to the Edwards family in St. Louis, Missouri. Here is an update from Ellen on their new family member...Wanted to update you on Martino.....now...Myles. We decided to start his new life he needed a new name and since he traveled miles to get to us, we thought Myles was appropriate. He is doing GREAT!!!!! Had his first bath with us...it went fine. All the dogs now have the run of the house when we're home. They all get along fine, especially Rosko and Myles. They chase each other around...it's hilarious.
Rosko is my min pin mix that weighs 17 lbs. they love each other and Petey tolerates both of them...but I see his tail wagging at them too. My son loves him. Martino slept in bed right next to him and, since Blake had a half day of school they are napping together right now. I tried to put some adorable pictures of him up on the blog but they wouldn't transfer. It does my heart good to see what a huge difference a loving home can do for a sweet boy like Myles when he is just given a chance.
Thank you Ellen and her loving family for opening their hearts and home to this deserving boy.

Update On Where Biden Bought Puppy
The state Department of Agriculture has issued citations to the owner of the Chester County kennel where Vice President-elect Joe Biden recently bought a puppy. In a kennel inspection report posted online Monday night Linda Brown, owner of Wolf Den kennel, was cited for violating the dog law for failing to provide records for dogs purchased or sold and failing to produce complete rabies vaccination records for her adult dogs. Rabies vaccinations are required for all dogs over three months of age. Dog wardens also found a strong ammonia smell inside the house where a number of dogs are housed, and broken wires and piping in several outdoor kennel areas. As a result they issued warnings for maintenance and sanitation and will conduct a follow up inspection in the near future, the report said. The owner could face fines of up to $500 for each citation.A drop in the bucket for most of these puppy mills to incur IF AND ONLY IF they really charge them or just slap their hands like normal. Brown, of Spring City , who also operates as Jolindy's German Shepherds, holds a commercial kennel license that allows her to keep more than 250 dogs. She had 84 dogs on the property when the inspection took place on Dec. 10. Biden bought the six-week-old male German Shepherd puppy from the kennel earlier this month.
Five warnings, two citations issued four days after Biden paid her a visit on December 6 to buy his puppy! Remarks from the actual PA kennel inspection report are below.

Inspection of kennel took place on December 10, 2008. A total of 85 dogs were located on the premises at the time of inspection. (In Missouri and at many puppy mills the number of dogs can go up to 1,000 and is not uncommon. These dogs never get petted, bathed, loved in any way and never own a dog toy or most of the time never walk on grass their whole life. They live for one reason and one reason alone TO BREED.) Kennel owner was unable to produce the Bureau’s 2008 kennel license for verification, however, Warden Orlando Aguirre verified said license through Bureau’s database. Inspection was performed with Kathy Andrews.
The inspection of Wednesday, December 10, 2008 is as follows:
21.21(a) - Maintenance
There were several broken wires in the outside kennel area. Also, outside fencing near entrance of kennel had broken piping. In the house there was a medium-sized hole approximately 14” x 6”.
*Warning Issued
21.26 – Ventilation
There was a significant smell of ammonia present within the kennel that was not present at the prior inspection. Warden Andrews attributes the increase of ammonia to the house’s windows and doors being closed during the winter months.
*Warning Issued
21.29(b) – Sanitation
There was an accumulation of dog hair/dog food underneath the piping in primary enclosures within the house.
*Warning Issued
21.29(c) – Housekeeping/pests
Several open bags as well as numerous cobwebs were noted throughout the barn where dogs were housed.
*Warning Issued
21.41(a) – Records Kept
Kennel owner did not possess all records for dogs sold/boarded/adopted/ transferred/returned to owner during the 2008 calendar year. Numerous records possessed by kennel owner failed to contain the complete name and address of where dogs went.
Kennel owner must keep all records for dogs sold/boarded/adopted/ transferred/returned to owner during the 2008 calendar year. Kennel owners must go through her records and complete name and address portions of said records thereby identifying where and to whom dogs went.
*Citation to follow
21.42 – Bill of Sale
Bills of sale were not available for this warden’s review.
*Warning Issued
455.8 – Rabies Vaccination
Rabies vaccination records were not available for review upon this warden’s inspection. Despite an indication by kennel owner that all dogs on the premises that were 3 months and older were vaccination for rabies, kennel owner was unable to produce all records on the date of this inspection. Kennel owner was advised she had 48 hours to produce said records.
*Citation to follow
Recheck to be done. As of the filing of this inspection report, kennel owner had not produced all records for rabies.

Stop Senator Biden from buying a puppy mill dog
Please visit http://www.bidendog.com/ and sign the petition! You can read all about it on the site, and they really need your help ASAP on this! It'll take just a few seconds of your time. Thank you, and happy holidays to all! The Obama-Biden ticket was built on change, a change our nation is demanding. But unfortunately they missed the boat right out of the gate. You can't say they weren't aware of it either as animal right groups everywhere have been begging them for it. Too many individuals have worked so hard behind the scenes trying to educate the public to the horrible conditions of puppy mills. They had hopes that the promised "change" would extend to our four-legged friends as well. Unfortunately, Senator Biden decided to purchase a puppy from a dog breeder in Pennsylvania. This breeder has been in constant trouble by the authorities in Pennsylvania for violating animal rights. It is so sad that people continue in their pursuit of a family pet ignore the cries of dog lovers everywhere and buy from a puppy mill. Most of the time I know it is done through ignorance of the facts but people we have to open our eyes to this cruel underground hidden world of big business puppy mills out there. MISSOURI IS SINGLE -HANDILY THE WORST STATE AS WE HAVE THE MOST PUPPY MILLS OF ANY STATE OUT THERE.
Our nation's leaders and their pets have been well documented throughout history, and many president's have either purchased or accepted dogs from dog breeders, ignoring the plight of millions of homeless animals in our country. The ray of hope is that President - elect Obama has given his word publicly that he would adopt a dog for his family. Current information out there indicate that Senator Biden has not yet picked up his puppy. I'm begging you to help us send a clear message to him asking Senator Biden to make the right choice. Mistakes are made all the time, especially on Capitol Hill. Would the incoming Administration hesitate to withdraw a Cabinet nomination if "dirt" was discovered on the nominee? The breeder that Senator Biden chose certainly has her share of skeletons in her closet, and by opting to purchase a puppy from a less-than reputable breeder, Senator Biden has opened the barn door to poor choices Americans will make when following the Biden family's mistake. The time is now for the Biden family to admit their mistake and make the right choice -- Adopt, don't shop!

Three Legged Beauty
Meet Destiny! She is a beautiful senior shepherd mix with only three legs who is hoping for a Christmas miracle that she will have a chance at a happy life and get out of the shelter alive. Destiny was picked up as a stray in Independence, MO and is now at the Independence, MO Animal Shelter. She was held for 7 days in hopes of an owner finding her, but no one came looking. She has now been avail. for adoption or rescue since Dec. 11th. She is missing her left hind leg but is a healthy, happy girl! She is guessed to be about 8 years old and is a medium sized dog. She is very clean in her kennel and wants to go outside to potty so it is very likely she is house trained. They think she is probably fine with other dogs. She is very friendly with people! She can get fully vetted for $65 from the shelter. If you can save Destiny and offer her a safe, loving place to go this Christmas and forever, please contact the shelter at 816-325-7207 or you can email me at kimtou@yahoo.com. We can't turn away from that sweet face and smile in her Christmas photo!

You Can Do Something To Make A Difference
TAKE 5 MINUTES TO COMPLAIN TO CHESTERFIELD MALL ABOUT PUPPY STORE
Many of you are aware of the puppy mill protests that are currently taking place on Saturdays at Chesterfield Mall to educate people about puppy mills/commercial breeders and encourage people to adopt instead of shop. In addition to holding signs and passing out literature to those who are interested they also need to put pressure on the mall in hopes management will decide not to continue to lease space to a store that sells puppies (and kittens).
PLEASE TAKE ACTION AND SPREAD THE WORD. I am asking each of you to take 5 minutes to call, email or write the general manager of the mall to express your opposition to the mall renting space to a puppy store. When you call or write, please keep the following in mind:
BE POLITE.
95-99% of pet shop puppies come from puppy mills/commercial breeders who treat dogs like livestock, keeping them in cages 24/7 and breeding them every heat cycle. (For more information visit www.petshoppuppies.org).
If applicable, let the general manager know you will boycott Chesterfield Mall as long as it rents space to a puppy store and will tell friends and family to do the same.
Many of you are unable to attend our protests due to other commitments, but this is an easy way to get involved in combating puppy mills and to make your voice heard.

This email came from a wonderful women who works tirelessly for dogs and has devoted her life to this work. She use to be the publisher of St. Louis Tails magazine. "Mom" met Leanne at a dog symposium after Oprah did her show on Puppy Mills. "Mom" just instantly liked Leanne as she is warm, friendly, super sweet and a very beautiful person inside and out. Let's all try to support her and this great cause to try to stop the cruelty to dogs that are being forced to have litter after litter in horrible living cages and places. I've seen them first hand and it would make the average person sick to your stomach.

How About A Saint Bernard???
Here's the deal; there is someone willing to foster 1, 2, or even all 3 of them for awhile until they can get into a rescue or become part of a forever family, so long as I can count on the rescue or forever family being able to take them at some point. She is willing to help transport them to the rescue or adopted family or forever home. when the time comes. She can evaluate, socialize, and train them for the time being to see how well they are and what kind of homes they'd fit in.If anyone is out there who would love to adopt some beautiful Saint Bernard's.She will get them to a vet if needed. She just need someone to speak up and be able to foster/take them into their rescue or home eventually. She doesn't think setting up transport for any of the Saints should be too hard; the other 2 Saints are in Kansas City, KS animal control and one is in Independence, MO shelter.

Obama and Boston Terriers
Okay so I'm laying here thinking we got this new president coming into office soon and he doesn't have a dog yet but promised his girls he would get them one if he became president. Every one's hoping he goes to a shelter to find one and I certainly am too. Now my thought is what type of dog do you think they will get??? Even if the dog is mixed it always seems to look like a certain breed more than the others.I'm thinking it's time for a Boston Terrier to be the dog of the FIRST FAMILY. Now people would remember that breed ....are you with me.

Dog in Owensville, Missouri Needs Home
Free dogs to good home
We have a couple of dogs that are in need of foster homes ASAP.
The first is a pair of Great Dane Mixes these babies are Seniors..Mork and Mindy. They were pulled from JCAC and went to a foster to adopt home only to be returned due to the fact that the daughter moved back in with her 2 dogs. They are GREAT dogs! Big dogs that love nothing more then to sit back on your sofa! These babies need to spend the remainder of their lives in a HOME! I will separate if need be!! Please say that you'll help them!
Next is Nala. Nala is an adorable white lab mix that is approx.50 lbs. She has not one ounce of aggression in her and sadly has been bounced from home to home in the past year. She does have one issue. Separation anxiety and I can't say that I blame her... she was recently adopted out 4 months ago and now due to their schedule changes they are unable to keep her separation anxiety under control. They are not willing to work with her and want her out. Nala came from an animal hoarder and spent the first 2 years of her life in a crate. Her nose rubbed raw from banging it trying to free herself.
PLEASE Crosspost..these babies need a home..they have not 1 mean bone in them!! Make room in your hearts and life for them! Contact Lorrie below if you can help!!!

Rockin Santa "Don't Get It"
Santa all I want for Christmas is you out of this house.
Who wears that much red this time of year? Man, this guy knows how to take a fashion risk to the extreme. With that hat he should join a red hat senior citizen's group if you ask me. I've seen my kids dressed up in some pretty questionable attire but how did Nana let this clown in the house. He looks like a refugee from Barnum & Bailey's circus. How can these human kids believe in this weird looking man they call Santa Claus. The only thing I believe is I want to bite his legs off if he does that stupid little dance to Jingle Bell Rock one more time. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if he could break it down to rap or R&B but this same old song with his 70's disco old school moves just doesn't cut it for me. Everytime the same old song starts, his hips starts to sway and I go after him like he's bubble wrap.....growling, whining out of control and trying to rip him to pieces. I don't want to rain on any one's parade here but the non rhythmic fat guy isn't workin for me.
