View the world through the eyes of Hudson. His objective of this blog is to educate the public by trying to teach them not to buy a dog through a puppy mill. Don't buy a dog before you see where his parents live and how they are treated. Better yet ADOPT through a rescue or shelter and know you've done a good deed by saving a dog's life !!!

Spotlighting Animal Protective Association of Missouri
This organization is located at 1705 S. Hanley Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63144. Their website is APAMO.org and email is info@apamo.org or phone is (314) 645-4610. They are a fabulous open admission animal shelter. They are not affliated with any other animal shelter and do not receive government funding. They take in mainly dogs and cats but they will take any animal brought to them. They care for around 4000 animals a year regardless of breed, age, size etc... Some days they receive as many as 20 animals. They feel it can be challenging to make space in the shelter but they always make room. They've been around since 1922 and have so many wonderful success stories. They still celebrate every single adoption and are so grateful for people who choose to adopt a pet through them. If you are interested in volunteering with them call Stephan at (314) 645-4610 ext. 122 or email volunteer@apamo.org Please go to their website which is updated every hour to see what pets are available for adoption. Hope you'll adopt your next pet through this amazing organization in St. Louis !!!
