Killuminati Foundation Puppy Project Puppy Gala .......



SPRINGFIELD, MO – The Killuminati Foundation presents the 5th Annual Project Puppy Gala on Nov. 2nd University Plaza. Project Puppy is the Killuminati Foundation’s largest and most successful fundraiser of the year. Killuminati takes a fundraising event to a whole new level with Project Puppy! Get all dolled up for this dinner, dance, and silent auction offers a twist on the traditional fundraising event by featuring their Killuminati rescued dogs strut down the runway in custom designed outfits by Missouri State University fashion students. (All the dogs in show are available for adoption and looking for their forever families.) Think Project Runway meets Killuminati!! Last year we had 325+ guests and raised thousands of dollars to help dogs in Missouri suffering from serious medical issues.


The following finalists will be recognized at Killuminati’s 5th annual Project Puppy Gala on Nov. 2nd at 6:30pm at University Plaza where the winners will be announced based on the community’s votes. We are also very excited to announce this year’s Dr. Tedd Hamaker Award honoree – Bob Baker, Executive Director of the Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation (MAAL) for his dedication and achievement to animal welfare. Baker conceived and aided in the production of several national news exposes on animal abuse including pieces on “60 Minutes,” “20/20,” “Dateline,”  “HBO” and “Animal Planet.”  He has been a tireless spokesperson over the years on a host of animal issues involved with thousands of investigations and animal welfare related cases.


*Hamaker Lifetime Achievement Award – Bob Baker, MAAL ( SO deserved !!!)

*Business of the Year – EntreMANURE K9 Dog Waste Removal, Uturn Studios, and Wiseguys Printing

*Rescue Story of the Year – Albie, Boone, and the Model Pet Project

*Veterinary Office of the Year – Healing Paws, Springfield Veterinary Center, and Tri-Lakes Animal Clinic

*Volunteer of the Year – Kristy Ritter, Teri Jenson, and Vanessa Johnson

The finalists will be recognized at Project Puppy and winners announced at the event.
