St. Louis, Missouri Average animals killed at SHELTERS/Animal Control every year !!!
An average of 20,000 dogs/cats are killed right here in St. Louis each year --- 2.7 million in the US annually. Spay/neuter and an end to disreputable puppy mills would be a step in the right direction.
