EVERY PET SHOULD BE MICROCHIPPED .......

Every pet should be microchip. Everyone always hopes their pet will not get loose. However, sometimes mistakes happen. Like a neighbor kid will come in to your yard to get their ball that went over the fence. Without any thought they accidentally leave the gate open. You not being aware that the gate is open let your pet out in the back yard and before you know it your pet is gone. Only to find out the gate was left open. It's not just the neighbor kids that might leave the gate open but a utility work might come in your yard and forget to shut the gate. I can't tell you how many times I heard that story.

Like everyone else we have the same problem. That's way we have locks on our gates. It might seem like an inconvenience but that way we know our pets are safe. Utility works and anyone else that needs to get in our yard have to get in touch with us to make sure we are home before they can get in our back yard. We try are very best to keep our pets safe.

Also, make sure people know that if they move or have any different information then what they gave when they first got the microchip. It's their responsibly to get in touch with the microchip company. I believe the two companies are Avid or Home Again. Example: We have my husbands daughter on the contact list. About 4 years later her and her family moved so I had to get in contact with Avid and have the information updated. For a small fee they updated my step-daughters information.

I think micro chipping your pet is just another good idea to keep your pet or pets safe.
