If your looking for a pet to join your family two great sources are Petfinder.com which gives you thorough descriptions of the animals and you can call on them. The next source is to be put on wyvonnia@partners4paws.com distribution list. She has been a tireless advocate for homeless dogs for years. Both of these sources are wonderful places to look for a pet. Also seek out your animal shelter in your area or a rescue group who specializes in the breed you are looking for. On the side of my blog are great rescue sites to adopt a dog through.
