View the world through the eyes of Hudson. His objective of this blog is to educate the public by trying to teach them not to buy a dog through a puppy mill. Don't buy a dog before you see where his parents live and how they are treated. Better yet ADOPT through a rescue or shelter and know you've done a good deed by saving a dog's life !!!

If Dogs and Cats Ruled the World
IF DOGS & CATS RULED THE WORLD:
Imagine a world where dogs and cats ruled over the lands and made all of the decisions based on their needs and wants. Can’t you just picture cats and dogs wearing crowns, sitting atop their thrones looking out over us humans who are waiting on them hand and paw? They would all live inside and have soft cozy beds to sleep on and have personal chefs (owners) to fill their food bowls with yummy healthy meals and sparkling clean water. They would have closets full of collars with engraved tags to choose from each day, personal stylists (groomers) standing by to brush their luxurious fur and personal trainers (obedience specialists) to make sure they exercise and stay in tip top shape. They’d have balls to chase and Kongs to chew on and a doctor (vet) to call upon when needed. Wait a second….all of these things ARE a reality for the dogs and cats in our families. BUT, these are the dreams of the animals in our shelter….step inside our Headquarters Facility and see what we do at HSMO to make these dreams a reality for the homeless animals while they are here in our shelter. Join us as we learn more about dogs and cats and lend a helping paw to get them adopted.
