MOST OF MY EMAILS ARE SENT OUT ABOUT ANIMALS NEEDING HOMES; TRANSPORTS, but originally the email addresses collected were due to the PUPPY MILL BILL back in 2010. Since the passing of that bill I've continued to try to keep up (no way) with information being sent to me from all directions. THE UP-COMING CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT that I am feverishly wanting to inform all of you about, is being headed up by the same people who "over turned" the peoples Proposition B bill (2010).
THIS AMENDMENT (The Right To Farm/The Right To Harm).....is a bill not only backed by one of the largest and most threatening Corporations to Animal/Human Welfare - Monsanto, but it is also written to specifically target our Puppy Mill bill.

There will be an "official" launch on this coalition JUNE 3RD , although I already know farmers who are printing t-shirts to wear at Farmers Markets.
Just today at Mama Jeans in Springfield, MO. I ran into a young man who is installing Solar panels for farmers and he said that he used to work for Farm Bureau who is fooling the people. He, too, is familiar with this Amendment and the harm that it is going to bring to the small Missouri Farmer.

A very important figure in the Agricultural Community is Dr. John E. Ikerd of the University of Missouri. He has spoken on this subject around the Country and also here at the Springfield Library symposium (where we had local puppy millers protesting the meeting). I also emailed, Bob Baker, with Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation whom I am a supporter of asking him what his stand was on this issue and he, too, is speaking against this bill and basically understands that it is a backdoor into turning over the Puppy Mill bill, but even worse because it has the earmarks of doing so much more damage......but why it is targeted and aimed at over turning our Puppy Mill bill. Can you imagine our Legislator's up in Jeff City doing nothing all day long except thinking up ways to just make up bills. Some of you will recognize the same players. Mike Parsons; Jason Smith (which Bob mentions in his video) and others.
I am also sending out Wayne Pacelle's latest call for building a strong coalition of Animal Welfare persons. I'm so excited to be part of this process. Currently there is over 11 MILLION members with H.S.U.S., that is 1 in 23 persons in the United States that is a contributing member of HSUS. And in reading the history of HSUS, it has some of its "roots" from here in Missouri. Hope to soon share with you this history.....very interesting.

VERY INFORMATIVE AND GREAT TO SEE BOB BAKER PUT IT SO SIMPLY......THE RIGHT TO FARM CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT is a SCAM (my words not his). If you Pleaseeeee listen to the entire thing.....it again goes over how Missourians voted and passed the PUPPY MILL BILL; Missouri Legislator's overturned it and Gov. Jay Nixon came up with the compromise. It mentions about Dr. Hagler and the work he did, and the current Director for Missouri Dept. Of Agriculture.
