View the world through the eyes of Hudson. His objective of this blog is to educate the public by trying to teach them not to buy a dog through a puppy mill. Don't buy a dog before you see where his parents live and how they are treated. Better yet ADOPT through a rescue or shelter and know you've done a good deed by saving a dog's life !!!

The Puppy Mill Project Is A Great Organization To Learn More about Puppy Mills .....
Approximately 2.5 million puppies are born in puppy mills annually and more than 400,000 breeding stock dogs are imprisoned in these kennels.
An estimated 3 to 4 million shelter dogs die every year.
Puppy Mills in America are crude, breeding facilities, whose sole focus is profit. There is little or NO concern for the health and well-being of the animals. Puppies are born with severe health, behavioral & socialization issues. Breeding dogs are neglected starved and left sick and injured without medical care or relief from overwhelming pain.
Of the more than 3,300 reported commercially licensed USDA breeding facilities, the large majority continue to operate with numerous egregious violations that go unmonitored, leading to suffering and ultimately the death of the dogs. The unknown truth is that the USDA is also burdened with the task of tracking unlicensed breeders who use the Internet and Newspaper advertisements to entice unknowing individuals to buy their dogs. Licensed or not, it is still a puppy mill and the conditions in which the dogs are forced to live is inhumane.
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, which falls under the jurisdiction of the USDA, cannot effectively monitor and track the atrocities of these facilities.
